Inp.polri.go.id – Bali. Bali Regional Police continue to provide security protection for the 2024 General Election ballots from dangers threatening the election logistics during its distribution. The police chief Inspector General Ida Bagus Kade Putra Narendra states that his forces also paid full attention to logistics security in other regions. Accompanied by his key officials, Narendra reviews the logistics warehouses in several region, such as in Bali State Polytechnic Building, Batuan Village, Sukawati, and Gianyar. He also inspects the District Voting Committee (PPK) security preparation in Klungkung. Other than those, the ballot warehouse in Kompyang Sujana Youth Sports Center also considered safe as it received tight security treatment from Bali Regional Police. On the other hand, Bali Regional Police Public Relations Division, Senior Superintendent Jansen Avitus Panjaitan says that the inspection was to ensure that police personnel tasked for the security at the location are really doing their job to its fullest. “Security on ballot warehouses have become our main priority. Our party have also patrolled around strategic location to anticipate dangers or disturbances that could hinder the distribution process,” quoted Jansen from Tribunnews on Friday (2/16/2024).
