inp.polri.go.id - The Jambi Resort Police and Muaro Jambi Resort Police provided drinks and snacks to the peaceful demonstrators in Talang Duku who were demanding that the company fulfill its promise to repair damaged roads, Wednesday (14/9/22) The Jambi Resort Police Head of General Information, Commissioner Mas Edy, said that the demonstration had been going on for two days. The Jambi Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Albertus Rachmad Wibowo’s heart was moved after seeing the condition of the people so then he initiated his ranks to provide snacks and drinks to the demonstrators. "This is the initiation of the Jambi Regional Police Chief, as the protector of the community, of course, we must pay attention to the condition of the residents who are currently still at the location, so as to avoid starvation and dehydration, personnel go down directly to distribute food and drinks for free," explained Commissioner Mas Edy. He adds that the demonstrators welcomed the the aids provided by the Police. "Thank you Jambi Police for your attention to us while we are voicing our aspirations, we are very happy to be able to get these snacks and drinks," said one of the demonstrators.
