Jambi Regional Police Chief Inspector General Rusdi Hartono warmly welcomes the visit of Pupuk Indonesia Inc. head in discussing several issues that they have to face together. “Regarding the security around Pupuk Indonesia Inc., there are several matters that could have disturb the company branches such as the selling of bogus fertilizer by criminals, incomprehensible selling of cheap fertilizer, and other counterfeits that has to be anticipated in order to protect our farmers,” says the President Director of Pupuk Indonesia Rahmad Pribadi. In response, Rusdi says that Jambi Police is ready to support all Pupuk Indonesia programs and reassured that they would immediately come to help if there are any issues. “Subsidized fertilizer is one of the important aspects in agricultural sector and national food sustainability. This brings the distribution of the fertilizer to be guarded seriously and strictly,” explains Rusdi. During the meeting, Rusdi adds that the initiative would be fruitful in building strong cooperation and collaboration between Jambi Regional Police and Pupuk Indonesia Inc. in efforts to guarantee the subsidized fertilizer distributed directly to the hand of Jambi farmers.
