Inp.polri.go.id – East Java. Land Mafia Task Force of East Java Regional Police awarded with gold pins by the Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency, Hadi Tjahjanto. Hadi has given the awards to the 16 members of East Java Police. The award was given as the task force have done an exceptional job in uncovering and eradicating land mafias in East Java as they also able to achieve their set target. “The given operational target is to completing three legal process of Land Mafia, which in 2023 we are able to complete four cases,” says Police Grand Commissioner Adjutant Aris Purwanto. Meanwhile, the General Criminal Investigation Director, Grand Commissioner Totok Suharyanto stressed that the land mafias are organized crime syndicate which requires strong cooperation between related stakeholders to uncover the case. He hopes that with the awards, it could ignite their motivation to continue in eradicating land mafia in East Java. (ad/rd/pr/nm)
