Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. A joint team from the Indonesian National Police (INP) Headquarters and West Papua Regional Police is preparing a detailed crime scene investigation as part of Operation Moskona AB 2025, focusing on the disappearance of First Inspector Tomi Samuel Marbun, who went missing on 18 December 2024.
Superintendent Adek Chandra, the INP's Head of Identification Sub-task force, said that the team has arrived at the suspected last known location in Teluk Bintuni, West Papua.
“We’ve conducted an initial aerial survey using drones to map out the area, which will guide the next steps in our investigation,” he said in his statement on Saturday (26/4/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
The team is equipped with advanced tools, including faro tripods and 3D mapping equipment, to reconstruct the scene. West Papua Police’s Director of Criminal Investigation, Senior Superintendent Nuvia Jaya, confirmed preparations are underway for a full reenactment of the incident.
