Ahmad Mustofa Kamal, S.H., said at 09.35 WIT the joint SAR team departed from New Mozes Kilangin Airport using the Indonesian Air Force Helly to the location of the helicopter crash to search for victims. “After searching for two days, the team finally managed to find the victim, a 5 years old and has died," said Kabid Humas of the Papua Police when confirmed, on Thursday (09/06/22). Furthermore, the victim was immediately evacuated from the scene to Mimika Hospital. The SAR team arrived at Halipad YKU Air Base at 15.33 WIT with the victim. "The victim was immediately taken to Mimika Hospital," said Kabid Humas of the Papua Police. The PK-DAR helicopter belonging to PT. Derazona Air Service, which is used as a mobile health center for the Mimika Regency Government, has a crashed on Wednesday 8 June 2022 in the Jila District of Mimika Regency.
