Inp.polri.go.id – Mandalika. The Indonesian President Joko Widodo reportedly will not be able attend the MotoGP Mandalika Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2023. His absence was confirmed by Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA) as the circuit management. MGPA did not release the details of Jokowi absence. “We do not have the authority to reveal the reason behind his absence. However, we know that when the President decided not to come, there must be urgent matters that requires his attention, we truly respect his decision,” says the Deputy Main Director of MGPA Cahyadi Wanda, on Sunday (15/10/23). MGPA along with Grand Prix motor race management, Dorna, will still continue their security operation and the ceremonial event according to the initial plan, including the aerobatic attractions from Team Jupiter of Indonesian Air Force, as well as the session of national anthem Indonesia Raya performed by Putri Ariani.
