Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Judicial Commission (KY) and the Supreme Court (MA) have officially dismissed and sanctioned two judges following proven allegations of extramarital affairs.
The Judges Ethics Council handed down the ruling in Jakarta aft on Wednesday (4/3/2026) er the judges, identified as LTS from the Central Sulawesi High Court and DW from the Sabang District Court, were found to have violated the Judicial Code of Ethics and Conduct.
"The reported parties are proven to have violated joint regulations regarding judicial integrity and professional honor," said Chairman Desmihardi, as cited by antaranews.com.
Judge LTS received a dishonorable discharge with pension rights, while Judge DW was handed a two-year non-trial sanction. Despite the judges' pleas regarding their subsequent marriage and continued child support, the council emphasized that such misconduct severely tarnishes the dignity of the judiciary.
This crackdown came after a separate dismissal earlier this week of a district judge in East Java for abandoning his family and falsifying legal documents.
