The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia Ensures that No Indonesian Citizens Died in the Halloween Party Tragedy in South Korea

inp.polri.go.id - Regarding the Halloween party tragedy that killed 149 people in Itaewon, on Saturday (29/10/22), the Indonesian Embassy in Seoul, South Korea, confirmed that there were no Indonesian citizens ( Indonesian citizens) who died.

As reported by pmjnews.com, previously, it was informed that there were two foreign nationals (foreigners) in Seoul who were killed in the incident.

"There is information that two foreigners have died. However, it has been confirmed that the two people are not Indonesian citizens," said the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to South Korea, Gandi Silistiyanto, in a press release, Sunday (30/10/22).

At least 149 people died and 76 others were injured in the tragedy of a Halloween party in Itaewon, South Korea, on Saturday (10/29/22). The horrific incident began when residents began to crowd the area wearing horror costumes.

The crowd was getting bigger by the middle of the night. Until finally at around 22:20 local time, the condition got worse on one of the narrow, uphill roads.
