The inspector of the ceremony was the governor of Lampung, Arinal Djunaidi, and attended by the Deputy Governor of Lampung, Chair of the Lampung Provincial DPRD, Regional Leadership Coordination Forum of Lampung Province, Regional Secretary of Lampung Province, Head of Regional Offices / Ministries / Institutions and Chancellors / Heads of Universities in Lampung Province, Expert Staff of the Governor, Assistants, Head of Service, and Leaders of Political Parties and Ormas in Lampung. The Ceremony was marked with the reading of the Proclamation with the sound of sirens and the raising of the Red and White flag as a sign to remind the struggle of the national heroes in seizing Indonesian independence. The Head of Public Relations of Lampung Police, Commissioner Zahwani Pandra Arsyad said that this year’ Independence Day has the theme of “Recover Faster, Rise Stronger”. "The most important thing from this commemoration of Indonesia's independence is that we can take the values of the sacrifice of our national heroes, then we can use them as inspiration to build a better nation and state," said the Head of Public Relations. "Happy Independence Day, I hope that the people and the state will be better and more advanced in the future. Recover faster, rise stronger," concluded the Head of Public Relations.
