Inp.polri.go.id - Bogor. President Prabowo Subianto held a closed-door cabinet meeting at his private residence in Hambalang, Bogor, on Sunday (23/11/2025) to address law enforcement challenges in illegal forest and mining areas that remain difficult for authorities to access.

“President Prabowo emphasizes his commitment to implementing Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution: that land, water, and natural resources are controlled by the state and must be used for the greatest prosperity of the people,” said Cabinet Secretary Lieutenant Colonel Teddy Indra Wijaya in a statement as reported by antaranews.com.

The meeting, which lasted from afternoon until evening, focused on illegal operations in restricted areas, including unlawful mining and forest encroachment. Officials discussed the performance and future actions of the Task Force for Forest Area Enforcement, as well as legal consequences for violations committed in both sectors.

The session was attended by key security, finance, and regulatory officials, signifying a coordinated crackdown on illicit natural resource exploitation.
