Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo has instructed all regional police and the Police Labor Desk to help safeguard Indonesia’s investment climate.
“Support incoming investments so they lead to new industries and create more jobs,” he said during a labor deployment ceremony at the INP Headquarters in South Jakarta on Tuesday (29/7/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
Chief Sigit said that a positive investment climate would open up more opportunities for workers. He also urged companies to treat workers as valuable assets and family, fostering greater productivity and global competitiveness.
Earlier in the day, the INP chief officiated the deployment of 1,575 workers, both newly graduated and those laid off, to new roles at companies including PT IDS, PT Tah Sung Hung, and PT Long Rich Indonesia.
Chief Sigit noted 70,000 new job openings are expected by 2026, offering renewed hope for Indonesian workers.
