inp.polri.go.id - Ambon. Maluku Regional Police upgrade the main equipment of Maritime and Air Unit with XVI-2018 police boat to maintain security and order in the provincial waters.

“The XVI-2018 Police Boat is a demonstration of our commitment to continue upgrading the equipment and facilities for the safety and order of Maluku waters,” said Maluku Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Lotharia Latif on Monday (7/22/2024).

In his statement, the boat has the clear advantage in mobility, easy maintenance, and effective movement that fits the characteristics of Maluku waters.

He also underscores the importance of strengthening the operational of Maritime and Air Directorate to better serve the people in Maluku waters.

Latif hopes all Maritime and Air Directorate members will be able to maintain and take care of the new facility.

“Improve your presence in patrol and security operations in the water area. This boat is not just a means of transportation, but also the place and main equipment for police duty in serving the people of Maluku,” conclude Latif.
