Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police will conduct “Operasi Patuh Jaya 2026” from 6 to 21 June 2026, aiming to improve traffic discipline and safety ahead of Bhayangkara Day.
“The growing number of vehicles requires higher compliance from all road users,” said Traffic Director Senior Superintendent. Komarudin on Wednesday (3/6/2026).
The operation involves 2,798 police personnel supported by the military, transportation agency, and public order officers. Activities will focus 20 percent on education, 30 percent on prevention, and 50 percent on enforcement.
Ten priority violations include driving without license plates, wrong-way driving, failure to wear seat belts or helmets, drunk driving, and other high-risk behaviors. Chief Komarudin noted that visible violations such as missing plates and wrong-way driving will be subject to both electronic (ETLE) and manual ticketing.
He urged the public to obey traffic rules to ensure safe, orderly roads and invited community input to improve traffic management.
