inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Arifatul Choiri Fauzi expressed her commitment to deliver the rights of women and children in Indonesia.

“I realize the challenges faced by our country are huge. There are still many women and children that did not receive their rights amidst the violence they have to endure. However, with the support from many parties, I believe we can overcome these problems. I vow that I will give my all, my best, to work together with all stakeholders, and to ensure that this ministry to always be at the forefront in delivering the rights of women and children,” calls Minister Arifatul on Tuesday (10/22/2024).

In her remarks, Arifatul also appreciates the achievements of the previous Minister of Women’s Empowerment and Children Protection, Bintang Puspayoga. Arifatul is honored that she can continue the work of Bintang and asked for the support from the former Minister in realizing the ministry’s goal.

“Women are one of the state’s pillars. The country would be in good condition if the women’s livelihood were guaranteed. Therefore, let us together strengthen this particular pillar by empowering the women and protecting our children for the sake of our better future. Let us begin this new journey with a positive outlook, strong dedication, and honest heart,” says Arifatul.

On Monday (10/21/2024) morning, Arifatul was officially inaugurated by the elected President Prabowo Subianto as the new Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection in the 2024-2029 Red and White Cabinet. She will be supported by her Vice Minister, Veronica Tan.
