inp.polri.go.id - Kupang. Approximately 96 assigned personnel from East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police will be deployed to East Flores Sub-regional Police to support conflict handling in West Adonara.

The Head of East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police Public Relations Division, Senior Superintendent Ariasandy confirms that the personnel deployment is to support the East Flores Sub-regional Police in restoring order at the conflict location.

“Today, our 96 assigned personnel will be moved to East Flores Sub-regional Police to ensure optimal conflict handling at the location. They will be given instruction directly from the East Flores Sub-regional Police Chief,” says Ariasandy.

Ariasandy also says that other than personnel, East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police also sends special operational vehicles such as field kitchen trucks and water treatment vehicles. These vehicles are expected to help the affected communities by providing clean water and other basic needs during conflict management.

It is hoped that with the deployment of the assigned personnel, together with the trauma healing team, the situation can be restored. The police, military, and local government also continue to coordinate to maintain order and avoid further escalation.

The Head of Public Relations of East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police also appealed to the public to remain calm and leave the resolution of the problem to the officers on duty.

"We continue to coordinate with the local government and local community leaders. The public is asked not to be provoked and to keep the situation conducive," he concluded.
