inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of Transportation Dudy Purwagandhi, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, and Deputy Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Dony Oskaria are working towards the success of the 2025 Eid homecoming and return flow.
The Minister of Transportation emphasized three main supporting factors that need to be considered by BUMN in the transportation sector in implementing the 2025 Eid homecoming transportation.
"The three factors are security and safety, special attention, and collaboration," said the Minister of Transportation on Wednesday (3/19/2025).
Regarding security and safety, the Minister of Transportation emphasized that state-owned enterprises in the transportation sector should make this a priority, and make sure that it would not be considered trivial.
For safe and smooth accommodation, a train car is able to accommodate 60-300 people. On the other hand, ships can accommodate up to 3,000 people, while planes can accommodate up to 150-300 people, and buses can accommodate 50 people.
"So we can estimate how many people we moved. We also have to be aware that we bear the responsibility in transporting our people to their destination safely," said the Minister of Transportation.
On the special attention factor, Dudy is aware that Eid is an annual tradition. However, he asked state-owned enterprises in the transportation sector to continue to pay attention to their transportation armada down to the smallest details.
"We must pay close attention to every aspect, no matter how small it is. This is part of our respective responsibilities as transportation organizers," urged Dudy.
Meanwhile, in discussing collaboration, Dudy hopes that all stakeholders can work together and cooperate in making the 2025 Eid a success. He saw that collaboration is one of the most important factors in achieving the goal of a smooth and safe homecoming season.
"We from the Ministry of Transportation are very open. We are ready to be contacted every day, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We will support in any way we can," concluded the Minister of Transportation.
