Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Indonesian Religion Ministry and the Health Ministry assure health officers are well prepared to serve the 2024 pilgrims, as they would serve the pilgrims non-stop, 24 hours.

“Do not worry, we and the Health Ministry have prepared our personnel to serve for 24 hours. You should not hesitate to ask for help from our officers if you ever need one,” said Religion Minister Yaqut Cholil Qoumas on Thursday (5/9/2024).

Minister Yaqut highlights the hot weather in Saudi Arabia could reach up to 40-50 degrees Celsius and could prove challenging for some, especially the elderly.

“Today’s weather is very hot, it is 40 degrees Celsius today, and it is not even the hottest. The Minister of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia said that the temperature in Saudi Arabia could reach 48 to 50 degrees," conveyed Minister of Religion Yaqut.

Furthermore, Yaqut highlights the importance of maintaining prime condition during the pilgrimage.

“I asked the pilgrims to maintain your health, maintain your prime condition, do not force yourself. Eat healthy food, drink some vitamins that could help you gain more stamina to continue your pilgrimage,” adds Yaqut.
