inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Head of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti, said that the price of subsidized cooking oil MinyaKita is still above the Highest Retail Price (HET) in the third week of August 2025.

According to her, the average price of MinyaKita currently reaches IDR 17,268 per liter. Meanwhile, the HET set by the government is IDR 15,700 per liter.

"However, actually, the price is currently on a downward trend of 0.65 percent," she said, as reported by RRI, Tuesday (8/26/2025).

She further detailed that the highest price of MinyaKita recorded in Pegunungan Bintang Regency was reaching IDR 50,000 per liter. Then in Puncak Jaya Regency, it reached IDR 45,000 per liter.

Meanwhile, in Lanny Jaya Regency and the Arfak Mountains, the price was recorded at IDR 35,000 per liter. Therefore, Amalia encouraged that stabilization efforts be intensified so that the downward trend continues.
