Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. State-owned enterprises could save up to Rp 8 trillion annually under a new policy from the Danantara sovereign wealth fund that eliminates incentives, locally known as tantiem, and performance-based incentives for boards of commissioners.
Minister of Investment and Downstreaming and Danantara CEO Rosan Perkasa Roeslani reported the savings estimate to President Prabowo Subianto during a meeting at the Presidential Palace on Wednesday. The measure started last month.
“The savings, conservatively, are around Rp 8 trillion per year. We conducted a full study,” he said, as reported by antaranews.com on Thursday (7/8/2025).
President Prabowo instructed Rosan to present the analysis at the Cabinet meeting, where he also discussed a new government regulation on deregulation and licensing. The regulation ensures permits are automatically granted if agencies fail to respond within the stipulated timeframe.
The president ordered ministries not yet fully integrated with the new licensing system to comply promptly.
