Noken Community Development Unit Helps Harvesting of Peanut Farmers Supported by KASUARI Programme of Central Mamberamo Region

inp.polri.go.id - Papua. KASUARI Programme (Welfare for the Nation) brings changes to Papua, including pushing for the advancement of farmers and fish cultivators in Papua. One of the activities is through peanut farmer education activities of Central Mamberamo at the farming spot owned by Mr Mano Logo. The harvest festival was conducted on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at 11.00, at the Broges village, Kobakma, Central Mamberamo regency. The activity was attended by Noken Community Development Unit (Binmas Noken) personnel such as Police Inspector Forst Class Yustinus Wudu, Police Chief Brigadier I Putu Antara, Police Brigadier Amandus Laho, Police Chief Brigadier YF Logo (Chief of Community Police Education of Community Development Unit), Community Armed Forces Unit of 1702/JWY District Military Command, and Police Brigadier Pieter Haay (Community Police Unit). The presence of Binmas Noken at the peanut farm was welcomed by Mr Mano Logo as the head of the farming group and landowner. They then harvested the peanut fostered by Binmas Noken Task Force of Central Mamberamo. At 11.45, the Regional Coordinator of Binmas Noken of Central Mamberamo delivered security and order messages. He said, "Thanks to Mr Mano Logo because the seeds have grown well and could be sold to enhance the family's economy". He also stated that the visitation to the farming spot was fostered by KASUARI Programme is the form of care by the Binmas Noken Task Force of Central Mamberamo. "On this occasion, we also advise the farming group to maintain the safety of Kobakma city and not be influenced by the groups opposing with Indonesia", the Regional Coordinator of Binmas Noken of Central Mamberamo said. Binmas Noken Task Force concluded the event at 12.15 with the handover of aid in the form of sugar and coffee as the form of care to the community. Mr Mano Logo thanked for the peanut seed aids so today he could feel the result of the assistance from the Binmas Noken Task Force of Central Mamberamo. Other farmers also feel helped by the farming land utilisation.
