inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Food Task Force of National Police to punish all activities of Police personnel who tries to play the basic necessities price because it's harm and trouble the community. "The good is there, and the price is in accordance to the regulation, so there must be no efforts to speculate the price, which is against the law", Chief of Public Information Bureau of PR Division of National Police, Police Inspector General Rusdi Hartono, said on Wednesday (29/12/21). Police Inspector General Rusdi Hartono also said that Police is still monitoring basic necessities prices in public. This monitoring involves several institutions. "Police and related institutions would keep monitoring to ensure that basic necessities prices are still according to the regulation", he explained. Previously, Director of Special Economic Offences, Police Brigadier General Whisnu Hermawan, mentioned that basic necessities stock is safe during 2021, especially in approaching Christmas and New Year during the Covid-19 pandemic. "The distribution is normal, and no challenges faced, despite in the middle of Covid-19 pandemic", he explained.
