inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Palestinian resistance group Hamas and Israel have agreed to a 60-day ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, Antaranews reported, citing multiple sources on Thursday (3/29/2025).
Earlier in the day, Hamas said it had received a new proposal for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip from US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff through a mediator.
Meanwhile, Israeli broadcaster Kan, citing multiple sources, reported that Israel agreed to Witkoff's new proposal, but Hamas objected to it because it did not guarantee a permanent end to the war and a complete withdrawal of the Israeli military from the enclave.
According to reports, President Donald Trump's special envoy was informed that both sides agreed to the ceasefire.
