inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman said that the achievement of the government's rice reserves (CBP) of 4 million tons is a strong symbol of increasing farmer welfare and national independence.
"All parties have worked hand in hand until Indonesia achieved the largest rice reserves in history," he said in Jakarta, Friday (5/30/2025).
This spectacular achievement cannot be separated from the initiative of President Prabowo Subianto, who consistently encouraged various strategic breakthroughs through the issuance of Presidential Instructions (Inpres) to strengthen production and make it easier for farmers to farm.
The government has recorded a new history in national food governance. For the first time since Perum Bulog was established in 1969, the CBP stock has reached a fantastic figure of 4 million tons.
Based on real-time reports as of Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 21:41 pm, Bulog's rice equivalent absorption has reached 2,407,257 tons, and the total official national rice stock is recorded at 4,001,059 tons.
This figure is a concrete symbol of the success of national collaboration in strengthening food security and improving the welfare of Indonesian farmers.
Amran expressed his appreciation and deep gratitude to all parties who have contributed to this achievement.
"I express my deepest gratitude to all Indonesian farmers, Commission IV of the Indonesian House of Representatives, TNI, Polri, Attorney General's Office, Governor, Regent, Head of the Agriculture Service, PT Pupuk Indonesia Holding Company (Persero) or PIHC, Perum Bulog, observers, academics, milling business actors, agricultural extension workers (PPL), and the media," he said.
With strong cross-sector collaboration and targeted strategic policies, the government is optimistic that Indonesia's food security is no longer a dream, but a reality that continues to be built and maintained.
