Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The parents of a baby abused at a daycare in Depok, West Java have requested assistance from the Indonesian National Police (INP) Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim).

Arif Muammar Hidayat, whose baby was reportedly abused, and their lawyer Anindytha Arsa Prameswari met with officials at the INP Criminal Investigation Agency on Thursday (1/8/2024) for legal protection and assistance to ensure the case is thoroughly investigated.

He discovered the abuse through social media, recognizing his baby’s clothing in a viral video. 

Arif reported noticing physical abnormalities in his child in June, leading to their police report on 31 July 2024, according to antaranews.com.

The family is concerned about the potential long-term effects of the abuse and is pushing for rigorous prosecution of the suspect,  identified as MI, the owner of the daycare, who has been arrested by the Depok Metropolitan Sub-regional Police.
