inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Police confirms an Afghan nationals, with the initials of NMY (36), was jumping into Platform 1 railway of Sudirman Station, Central Jakarta, Thursday (8/1/2024) morning. His dead body was found on the railway at 05.15 a.m.

The Head of Metro Jaya Regional Police Public Relations Chief, Senior Superintendent Ade Ary Syam says according to witness statements, NMY came to the train station at 4.30 a.m.

“The victim jumped to the railway when the train was coming from Tanah Abang at 05.15 a.m,” explains Ade.

Police confirm that the victim died on the scene and saw scars on the face following the incident.

“Currently the victim has been evacuated to Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital,” conclude Ade Ary.
