To anticipate this, the Central Java Police (Polda Jateng) have prepared several strategies. Central Java Police Chief (Kapolda Jateng) Inspector General Drs. Ahmad Luthfi, S.H., S.St., M.K., said that Polda Jateng would implement a local one-way system for three days, from Friday to Sunday if there is a traffic jam at the Kalikangkung Semarang toll gate. The traffic engineering policy of one-way sytem on toll roads nationally will start on Friday, and starts at 14.00 WIB, at the Kalikangkung Semarang toll gate (GT) to Kilometer 47 Cikampek. "We have agreed with the traffic directorate and other stakeholders, if there is a traffic jam in Kalikangkung , we will apply a local one-way," he explained. Based on the results of the monitoring of Polda Jabar, the traffic flow at the Kalikangkung Toll Gate has already reached 68 thousand vehicles, so traffic engineering is needed. Meanwhile, if there is no congestion, the national scale of one-way system in Kalikangkung-Cikampek will still be applied.
