inp.polri.go.id - To anticipate congestion on arterial roads leading to the Pangandaran Beach tourist area, the West Java Regional Police (Polda Jabar) appealed to the public to use the south coast alternative routes, especially during this Eid holiday. "To avoid congestion, travelers can use several alternative routes that have been prepared," said Head of Public Relations (Kabid Humas) of Polda Jabar, Commissioner Ibrahim Tompo, S.I.K., M.Sc., as quoted by Antara, on Thursday (05/05/22). He also explained that since D+2 Lebaran, tens of thousands of tourists kept coming to the Pangandaran Beach tourist area, causing severe congestion in the area. There are several alternative routes that have been checked and prepared for the tourists. If tourists depart from the Bandung area, the alternative route that can be taken is the Ciwidey or Pangalengan tourist route to Cidaun, Cianjur. Then, tourists can explore the southern coastal path to the east. Through this area, tourists will also be presented with various other tourist objects. Some of these attractions, are including Rancabuaya Beach, Pameungpeuk, Cipatujah, Cikalong, Cijulang and Parigi. Meanwhile, tourists from Jakarta can enjoy this alternative route to the south coast, starting from Pelabuhan Ratu, Sukabumi. Some of the tourist areas that can be enjoyed if you go through this route include Ciletuh Geopark, Ujung Genteng Beach, Tegal Buleud, Agrabina and Sindang Barang.
