Batu Ampar Police, Village Advisory Officer (Babinsa) and locals of Teluk Air hamlet working together to evacuate landslide victims on Teluk Air Hamlet Island RT 038 / RW 011 Batu Ampar Village, Batu Ampar District, Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan. "The cause of the landslide is due to the downpour that has flushed Kubu Raya Regency for approximately one week," explained Batu Ampar Police Chief, Ipda, Freddy Surya Purnama. The Batu Ampar police chief said that in the natural disaster, a empty house measuring 4X6 owned by Edi was having a moderate damaged and a house belonging to Kartono measuring 6X12 in the kitchen was heavily damaged due to the brunt of the landslide. Fortunately, there were no casualties in the landslide incident that occured on Saturday (10/8) at 22:00 WIB. "We and the locals were at the location and evacuated seven family members of Kartono and cleaned up the landslide debris, so that road access can be accessed," explained the Batu Ampar Police Chief. "We have evacuated Kartono's family to Pengki's family house which is located in RT 038 / RW 011, far from the location of the landslide. We also collect Kartono's belongings, and together with the locals, helped moved them manually to his relative's house. "said the Batu Ampar police chief, Sunday (10/9). Furthermore, the Batu Ampar Police Chief alerted personnel at the scene to monitor the situation after the landslide incident in Teluk Air Hamlet, as well as to appeal to the locals to stay alert and not rule out the possibility of another landslide.
