inp.polri.go.id - Aceh. The Aceh Regional Police's General Criminal Investigation Directorate has detained seven people for questioning in connection with a disturbance at the Aceh Public Housing and Settlement Area (Perkim) Office, which went viral on social media.

The incident occurred when a group of people approached the Aceh Perkim Office and sparked a disturbance. The exact motive behind their anger remains under investigation.

The Head of Public Relations of the Aceh Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Joko Krisdiyanto, confirmed that the alleged perpetrators were detained today for in-depth questioning regarding their respective roles in the disturbance.

"There is no tolerance for thuggery. Today, we have detained seven people for questioning regarding this viral incident, as well as to uncover their roles one by one," stated Joko.

The seven suspected perpetrators were apprehended by the Aceh Regional Police's Criminal Investigation Directorate Mobile Brigade Team and the Banda Aceh City Sub-regional Police Mobile Brigade Team. The police ensured that all parties involved would be prosecuted according to applicable laws.

Joko emphasized that his party will continue to pursue and take firm action against anyone who attempts to disrupt public order.

"Aceh must remain safe. We urge the public not to be afraid to report any acts of thuggery. The police will be present and take action," he concluded.
