inp.polri.go.id - Medan. The North Sumatra Regional Police (Polda) arrested two suspected perpetrators of assault on a prosecutor with the initials JWS (53) and a State Civil Apparatus for the Deli Serdang District Attorney's Office ASH (25) in Kotarih District, Serdang Bedagai Regency, North Sumatra, Saturday (5/24/2025).

"The arrest of the alleged perpetrators was carried out within 10 hours by a joint team," said the Head of Public Relations of the North Sumatra Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Ferry Walintukan in Medan, Sunday (5/25/2025).

Ferry said that the two perpetrators were arresred in different places.

The first arret was on the perpetrator with the initials APL alias Kepot on Pancing Medan Street, Saturday (5/24/2025) at 23.00 pm. Meanwhile, SD alias Gallo was arrested in Binjai, early Sunday (5/25/2025) morning.

"The perpetrator APL is suspected of being the mastermind and SD the executor of the victim. Meanwhile, one other perpetrator is still being pursued by the joint team," he said.

Ferry added that the two perpetrators who were arrested were recidivists with 365 cases who were perpetrators of theft and violence.

"Meanwhile, the motive of the perpetrators in the attack is still being investigated by the police," he said.

He emphasized that the North Sumatra Regional Police are committed to eradicating crime in this area as a form of providing a sense of security and comfort to the community.
