inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Chinese Prime Minister (PM) Li Qiang forwarded greetings from Chinese President Xi Jinping to Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto in a bilateral meeting at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Sunday (5/25/2025).

PM Li then said that President Xi conveyed his best wishes to President Prabowo.

"I would like to convey warm greetings and best wishes from President Xi Jinping to Your Excellency the President," PM Li said in the meeting.

PM Li also expressed his happiness at being able to carry out an official visit to Jakarta to fulfill President Prabowo's invitation, considering that this year Indonesia and China commemorate 75 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The bilateral meeting between President Prabowo Subianto and PM Li took place after the state welcoming ceremony at the Merdeka Palace.

President Prabowo welcomed PM Li right at the point where PM Li got off the vehicle. The two leaders then shook hands warmly, and walked together to the podium of honor to attend the welcoming ceremony.
