inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Metro Jaya Regional Police assures that as of now the case investigation of former Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Chief, Firli Bahuri, gratification remains ongoing.

“This case handling is still on-going and as of now, there are no notable hindrances in the investigation process,” said the Special Criminal Investigation Director of Metro Jaya Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Ade Safri Simanjuntak on Wednesday (11/20/2024).

Ade stated that investigation is still very much carried out by the joint forces of Metro Jaya Corruption Criminal Investigation Sub-directorate and Indonesian National Police Corruption Criminal Investigation Directorate. 

In addition, the investigation team is currently working to fulfill the P-19 instructions and the results of coordination with the Public Prosecutor (JPU) from the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office.

According to Ade, coordination between the police and the prosecutor's office is running very effectively, to complete the necessary case files.

"We are committed to carrying out this process procedurally and thoroughly," he said.
