inp.polri.go.id - West Java. Metro Jaya Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Kartoyo led the tree planting on an empty land in Lido, Cigombong, West Java. The activity was part of a simultaneous tree planting activity that was led by the Chief of Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo and the Indonesian Military Commander General Agus Subianto.

Karyoto, during the activity, says that the effort is part of the President’s Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka Asta Cita program.

“We are starting from the available land that can be used around Metro Jaya Regional Police. "Well, for now, we are still taking inventory of the lands in our jurisdiction area," said Karyoto on Wednesday (11/20/2024).

According to Karyoto, this movement will be carried out massively by police officers and invite the community to utilize their yards. Because, with just used bottles, people can plant various vegetables that can then be later consumed.

"If possible, we also invite them to raise laying hens that are domestic in nature, 10 or so," explained Karyoto.
