inp.polri.go.id - The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo along with the Indonesian Military Commander, General Agus Subiyanto attends the launching of INP Task Force in support of food security.

“INP Task Force was launched to support the mission of President Prabowo Subianto Asta Cita Program in food self-sufficiency,” says General Sigit in Bulang Village, Sidoarjo Regency, East Java on Wednesday (11/20/2024).

In their support of the Asta Cita program, the task force will carry out two main programs of “The Nutritious Yard Program”, which will prioritize Security Development and Public Order Unit to encourage the community to utilize yards as productive land. Until now, in 34 regional police areas there are 7,471 yards ready to be converted into productive land.

Then, other program is “The Productive Land Utilization Program” which will be implemented through cooperation between the Police and farmer groups and volunteers. Up to now, there are 13,217 hectares of unused land spread throughout Indonesia and ready to be used as agricultural, livestock, and fisheries locations.

It is hoped that this task force can further accelerate the realization of Asta Cita program in the food self-sufficiency goal.
