Police Constructed 22 Temporary Houses in Puluik Puluik, West Sumatra

inp.polri.go.id - West Sumatra. On Friday, January 16, 2026, personnel from the Mobile Brigade Corps of the West Sumatra Regional Police constructed 34 temporary shelters at Puluik Puluik, Bayang Utara District, Pesisir Selatan Regency, West Sumatra. 

This humanitarian activity is part of efforts to accelerate post-disaster recovery for affected communities.

The work progress to date includes: 22 houses have been cast and are ready for use. The lightweight steel frames for the house pillars have also been installed on 22 houses. GRC walls are currently being installed on 22 houses, along with terraces for the same number of houses.

Furthermore, six septic tank holes have been dug. Zinc roofs are ready for installation on 22 houses. Toilet seats have been installed on 22 houses, and the lightweight steel frames for toilets have been installed on 20 houses.
