inp.polri.go.id - Kupang. In celebrating the 79th Bhayangkara Day, the Logistics Bureau of the East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Regional Police held a humanitarian action by distributing clean water to the community in the scavenger area of Pasir Panjang Village, Kupang City, on Saturday (6/21/2025).

Head of the Bureau, Superintendent Hellen E. Pattikawa, led directly the social program to ensure that the distribution of clean water ran smoothly and on target.

This humanitarian action targeted underprivileged residents, especially scavengers and their families, who have had difficulty in getting access to clean water for their daily needs.

"This activity is a real demonstration of how we care for  the Community. We want to be present directly to help those in need, especially in the midst of the dry season which makes it difficult for some people to get clean water," said AKBP Hellen E. Pattikawa.

Hellen also said that clean water was distributed using tanker trucks and channeled directly to containers owned by residents. The local community looked enthusiastic and very helped by the assistance, considering the drought conditions that have begun to hit several areas of Kupang City.

This activity adds to the series of social actions of the NTT Regional Police in welcoming the 79th Bhayangkara Day which carries the spirit of building trust and closeness with the community through real actions.
