Inp.polri.go.id - Tangerang.  The Soekarno-Hatta Airport Sub-regional Policedistributed 5,000 Indonesian flags to air passengers, drivers, and visitors at the airport’s terminals on Sunday (10/8/2025)  to celebrate the 80th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia on 17 August 2025.

“We want to send a message of unity, patriotism, and national pride. Hopefully, with these flags, people will love our country even more,” said Soekarno-Hatta Police Chief Senior Superintendent Ronald FC Sipayung, as quoted by antaranews.com.

He emphasized the program targeted not only Indonesian citizens but also foreign travelers. “

They were delighted. This is our way of showing that independence is not just history, but a spirit that must remain alive today,”Chief Ronald said.

The initiative will continue in the coming days to encourage more citizens to display the Red-and-White flag in vehicles, public spaces, and homes.
