inp.polri.go.id – The cases of alleged abuse by actor Iko Uwais is still under investigation by the Police. Reportedly, Iko Uwais, reported back the reporter on suspicion of defamation on Tuesday, June 14, 2022. The Head of Public Relations (Kabid Humas) of Polda Metro Jaya, Commissioner Endra Zulpan, S.I.K, M.Si., said that the police is still studying this case. He adds that the investigators are still examining several witnesses. “Actually, today Iko Uwais was scheduled to be examined by the Criminal Investigation Unit of Bekasi City Metro Police,” said Kabid Humas Polda Metro Jaya. He also revealed the result of the report of alleged abuse by Iko Uwais in Bekasi City Metro Police will determine the Iko Uwais’s report back in Polda Metro Jaya. “Obviously, the report or the examination from Bekasi City Metro Police will underlying Polda Metro Jaya’s next step regarding the report by Iko Uwais to Polda Metro Jaya,” explained Kabid Humas Polda Metro Jaya. Therefore, he asks all parties that got involved in this case to be able cooperate well during the investigation process. He explained that cooperation is neccessary in examination, so that the police could get the best and fair result from both parties. “What’s clear is that the Police will uphold the law that is fair for all parties,” stressed Kabid Humas Polda Metro Jaya.
