Inp.polri.go.id - Bandarlampung. The Lampung Regional Police police are hunting a fugitive suspected of orchestrating the smuggling of 122 kilograms of crystal meth through Bakauheni Port, South Lampung, after officers arrested three couriers linked to a national narcotics network.
“The main suspect who ordered the operation, identified as SEM, is now on our wanted list and remains under active pursuit,” Lampung Police Chief Inspector General. Helfi Assegaf said on Monday (12/1/2026).
The drugs were seized at Bakauheni Port, Lampung, after intelligence-led operations uncovered a truck carrying meth disguised as agricultural cargo. Police arrested WS (30), R (44), and S (43), all from Aceh, who allegedly acted as couriers and an escort in exchange for payments ranging from Rp10 million to Rp100 million.
Authorities estimate the drugs’ street value at around Rp 122 billion and say the seizure potentially saved more than 600,000 people from drug abuse. The investigation continues to uncover the wider syndicate.
