inp.polri.go.id - Kendari. The Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police Drug Criminal Investigation Directorate is pursuing the drug dealer who smuggled a meth weighing 1 kilogram to a housewife with the initials of HS (39) in Bondala, Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi.
The Director of Drug Criminal Investigation Directorate, Senior Superintendent Bambang Sukmo Wibowo, says that the investigation on the drug dealer with the initials of JW commenced following the arrest of HS.
HS was caught red handed measuring the crystal methamphetamine into small plastic packages according to JW's instructions.
In his statement, he stated that the arrest of HS began with information from the public regarding the illegal circulation of narcotics in the village. The report was then followed up by police officers which resulted in the arrest of HS.
"The investigation result showed that HS stored crystal methamphetamine at her house in two places, namely nine small packages weighing 9.5 grams per package," he said.
He revealed that other packages of crystal methamphetamine were found in HS's garage which is right next to her house. The crystal methamphetamine was hidden in clear plastic jars with a total of 39 packages.
"The total evidence secured was 48 packages weighing approximately 1 kilogram,” Bambang Sukmo explained.
He explained that based on the results of the interrogation of the housewife, the illegal goods were obtained from someone with the initials JW, who entrusted the illicit items for her to be packaged in small packages for a fee of IDR 3 million.
At the end of the opportunity, Bambang said that currently his party is still pursuing the supplier of crystal methamphetamine and the location that will be the place for distributing the illegal goods.
