In a bid to boost the local economy, Keerom Sub-district police, Keerom regency administration and a local farmer group, harvested sweet potato in Baburia Village on Tuesday (26/9/2023). "We hope that the harvested sweet potatoes can improve the economy of the Abua Rakat Farmer Group, their families, and the community in Baburia Village, Keerom Regency," said Chief Brigadier Batias Yikwa,  a member of Keerom Sub-Regional Police Public Safety and Order Unit, known as Bhabinkamtibmas,. The sweet potato harvesting activity was attended by  local officials and the Abua Rakat Farmer Group, which was supported financially by the Keerom Regency administration to operate a designated farming spot to sustain their agricultural activities.
