Inp.polri.go.id - Bangkalan. Bangkalan Sub-Regional Police has been investigating the case of a boarding school student, identified by his initial BT, 16-year-old, in Geger District, Bangkalan who was beaten to death by his seniors.

The victim died while receiving medical treatment at the local community health center.

"We have taken 15 witnesses into custody and are currently examining five more people," said Police Senior Inspector Bangkit Dananjaya, the Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of Bangkalan Sub-Regional Police on Wednesday (3/8/23).

He explained that the victim had sustained bruises on his back, arms, and chest. The police continue to investigate the motive behind the fatal bullying by the senior students.

"Based on our investigation and the testimonies of several witnesses, the incident happened on Tuesday night (3/7/23) at around 10 pm," he said.
