Inp.polri.go.id – Mimika. Mimika lately was shocked with the viral video of a person who tells a 6:12 minute story of how they found out that the rice that was bought is made of rice. According to the video the rice was found to be made from rice after the rice was cooked. The person also tried to clenched the rice which then turns to round shaped, and the person also thrown the rice which then it was bounced several times. In respond to the video, Mimika Sub-regional Police Chief, Police Grand Commissioner Adjutant I Gede Putra, states that his party have coordinated with related institutions to investigate the case. “We can’t just draw a conclusion based only to the video. Which now we are cooperating with related institutions to investigate the source video and also its truth. We need to study this case,” he explained. Putra also asked for anyone who experienced oddity or any suspicious information to report to the police or any related institution for further investigation. “It is better not to draw conclusion hastily without any proof or any supporting facts, because this could cause chaos and law consequences if the information shared proved untrue,” he explained. The viral video of plastic rice has been going viral for several weeks.
