Inp.polri.go.id - Bandar Lampung. Senior Brigadier Andriansyah, a police officer from Pekon Mataram under the Pringsewu Sub-regional Police in Lampung, has developed an innovative approach to support food security and job creation by transforming cassava harvests into high-quality animal feed, working hand-in-hand with local residents.

An officer assigned to the Gadingrejo Police Office, he participates in every step of the process, from cultivation to processing. Post-harvest, cassava by-products are transformed into nutrient-rich feed suitable for livestock such as rabbits, cows, and other animals.

“This innovation ensures that agricultural yields go beyond the harvest stage by adding value and creating opportunities. With animal feed derived from cassava by-products, communities can increase their income and generate new job opportunities,” said officer Andriansyah.

Gadingrejo Police Chief First Inspector Herman praised  the initiative, emphasizing its alignment with the police force’s mission to promote societal welfare through creative and practical solutions.

“We are proud of what Senior Brigadier Andriansyah has achieved. This is a tangible example of law enforcement officers contributing to community economic development while maintaining security,” he said.
