Inp.polri.go.id - Kupang.  East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police Chief Inspector General Daniel Tahi Monang Silitonga inspected security preparations for the Operation Lilin Turangga 2024 on Saturday (21/12/2024) to ensure safe and smooth Christmas and New Year celebrations in the province.

Accompanied by El Tari Airport Commander Air Marshal Djoko Hadipurwanto and Kupang City Sub-regional Police Chief Senior Superintendent Aldinan R.J.H. Manurung, he visited the Integrated Post at the Airport to check the preparation of personnel, equipment, and infrastructure.

Chief Daniel emphasized the importance of cooperation between the police, the military, and other agencies in maintaining security. 

"We are committed to ensuring the safety of both holiday celebrations and travelers," he said.

Chief Daniel also highlighted the need for increased monitoring at key locations like airports, seaports, and major roads to prevent security issues.
