inp.polri.go.id - Larantuka. Ahead of the celebration of Semana Santa 2025, East Flores Sub-regional Police intensified the security activity by holding patrols in several tourist locations on Sunday (4/20/2025).

The patrol in particular focused on around the tourist destinations in the east and west of East Flores. In the east, police patrols at Kota Sau Beach, Asam Beach, and Alqaka Beach. While in the West, police patrols at Larantuka City Park and Larantuka Ferry Port.

The patrol was led by First Police Inspector Alfons D. Narek, and he says that the patrol aims to create a safe and secure situation for the people visiting East Flores.

“We from the East Flores are doing patrol at the tourist destinations to ensure a safe security situation as people are enjoying their holiday. We want the tourists to be able to feel safe and enjoy their holiday here,” says Alfons.

Aldons also urged all visitors to also join in maintaining security and order by reporting any issues or disturbance to the authorities.
