The escort will begin from the buffer zone. “We will escort the homecoming travelers who goes with motorcycle from the buffer zone that we have prepared such as in the arterial road in Cikupa, to the Ciwandan Port,” said INP Traffic Corps Chief, Inspector General Aan Suhanan on Thursday (3/28/2024). Furthermore, the INP Traffic Corps also conveyed that the delay system for vehicles going to the pier and port will be applied. On the other hand, there are also separate crossings for motorbikes, four-wheeled vehicles and excluded heavy vehicles. Moreover, the system of odd-even policies will also be applied in the toll road going towards Merak Port when needed. “It has become our evaluation from last year where there was a long queue and shipping in Ciwandan Port.
