inp.polri.go.id - East Flores. The Assigned Personnel of East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police move fast in providing aid to the evacuees of Mount Lewotobi Laki-Laki eruption.
The assistance provided is clean water ready for consumption and ready-to-eat food, which is very much needed by residents in refugee posts. The water was distributed using a watergen car, which has the technology to produce water from the air, making a safe water supply for the refugees.
Not only clean water, personnel also provide ready-to-eat food prepared in the field kitchen set up at the refugee location, ensuring that food is available every day.
Head of East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police Public Relations Division, Senior Superintendent Ariasandy says that the aid hopefully can ease the burden of the refugees who are struggling to acquire the basic needs due to the eruption.
"We want to ensure the affected residents remain safe and comfortable during the evacuation period. We are committed to always being present and helping people in need," said Ariasandy.
Ariasandy also said that supporting vehicles such as field kitchens, health vehicles, and emergency tents have been prepared to support handling in the field.
The East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police hope that the assistance provided can provide peace and a sense of security for the affected community and help them undergo the evacuation period more comfortably.
