Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Ahead 2024 elections, Metro Jaya Police recruits another 1,170 new personnel who currently now are in basic police education. This initiative is following the retirement of 684 police on January – November later. “The reducing the number of police is still ideal, still in accordance with the recruitment of 1,170 new police force who are currently still in the basic police education,” says HR Head Bureau of Metro Jaya Police, Grand Commissioner Langgeng Purnomo quoted from antaranews on Wednesday (10/25/2023). He says the dynamics of safety and security in society is growing as time flows, particularly as Indonesia soon will face the 2024 elections. “Facing the preparation for 2024 election security operation, police firmly states that we are taking neutral stance as we prioritize safety and security stability in supporting safe and just democracy for the people of Indonesia,” says Purnomo.
